Week of August 19-23

Dear 3rd Grade Families:

We would like to invite you to Curriculum Night for your 3rd grade student coming up on Tuesday, August 20th, from 6:00-7:30pm.  Please note that this is an adults only event, and that all presentations are tailored for parents and not students. Please contact your child’s teacher with any questions.

Over the summer, our library was completely renovated and updated to help make time in the library enjoyable and more functional.  We encourage you to consider spending some time with us and enjoy the new surroundings by volunteering to help us during our weekly library time.  Our time is on Tuesdays, from 10:40-11:00, and we could use help with reading to students or helping with the checkout process. Our wonderful Librarian has set up links for our families to sign up for this rewarding experience – please take a look at the times available – we value our volunteer’s time and are grateful for their contribution to our community.  Many thanks!

Picture Day is coming up on Tuesday, August 20th.  Order forms went home last week – please check your students folder if you have not seen it yet.  Uniform policies must be followed for picture day – please see our handbook for details on guidelines for hair, hair accessories, jewelry, and any other aspects of the dress code that are relevant for picture day.  A link to the handbook is provided below for your convenience:
